Divine purpose was bundled up in the form of a baby girl named La Tanya and she was delivered to Los Angeles, California to be reared under the godly hands of her grandparents, the late Pastor Ulysses and Mother Marie Blake. Her family background and firm religious upbringing has given her a solid foundation for the ministry in which she now labors. She has several uncles that were pastors and ministers and she is the cousin of Bishop Charles E. Blake, Presiding Bishop of the Church Of God In Christ.
This anointed Woman of God has committed her life completely to the ministry of Jesus Christ. God has endowed her with the grace to serve as a licensed Evangelist Missionary in the Church Of God In Christ. She served as the District Missionary of the New Antelope Valley District from 2003 to 2009, and is the founder of Wings Christian Women's Alliance.
After the homegoing of her husband, Supt. Ron L. Allen, her present spiritual assignment is to lead the church that she and her husband founded in 1994, the Power of Praise Faith Ministries COGIC. Lady Allen has a passion for teaching and ministering the Word of God in excellence and power. She has been "brought to the kingdom" for such a time as this. Her vulnerable and realistic approach in ministry often leaves listeners natuarally and spiritually weeping as they experience the forgiving and cleansing power of the Holy Ghost. Using her "pain as her platoform" she allows and provokes others to take off their masks and receive God's healing in every area of their lives.
Lady Allen enjoyed 18 years of marriage with Supt. Ron Allen from May 2, 1987 until the Lord called Supt. Allen home on December 16, 2005. Two beautiful children were born to this union, Krystle and Blake. She is also the mother of Mrs. Tracy Young, Everett Young, Sr. and grandmother to Everett, Jr. and Khristina. Lady Allen's greatest enjoyment and accomplishment in this life is that of being a mother to her children.
