Our History...

Power of Praise Ministries C.O.G.I.C.

was founded by Pastor Ron and First Lady La Tanya Allen.

The first worship service was held on Sunday, April 17, 1994 at the Rio Mirada Inn in Lancaster, CA. This anointed service was attended by 14 people. Two wonderful families (Pamela Noel and her two children and Karen Curtis and her two sons) were the first members to join Power of Praise Ministries, along with Pastor Ron Allen, First Lady La Tanya Allen and their daughter, Krystle.

On January 1, 2009, under the leadership of our Co-Founder, Administrator La Tanya Blake Allen, we changed our name to Power of Praise Faith Ministries.

is a Spirit-Filled, Bible-Teaching, Family-Oriented, Mission-Minded and Community-Active Ministry that is concerned about the total man. We have been commissioned to "spread the Gospel" to this dying world.

is a member of the Southern California First Ecclesiastical Jurisdiction of the Churches Of God In Christ. Our Jurisdictional Prelate is Bishop Joe L. Ealy and our Jurisdictional Supervisor of Women is Dr. Barbara McCoo Lewis.
